48V 1200W Electric Scooter - 40-45 km/h, 200kg Load, Foldable, LED Lights
Can I use this electric scooter on public roads?
No. This electric scooter is designed for off‑road use only and is intended for private estates, gated communities, resort grounds and golf courses. It is not street‑legal and must not be ridden on public highways or roads. Using it on public ways would violate local regulations and could void the warranty.
How long does the battery last and how often should I charge it?
The lead‑acid battery provides a range of 25‑35 km per charge under normal conditions, and up to 60‑70 km when the terrain is flat and the load is light. Charge the scooter for 6‑8 hours for a full charge, and give it an initial 10‑12 hour charge before the first use. For best longevity, keep the battery between 20% and 80% charge when not in regular use and avoid letting it sit completely discharged for more than five days.
What is the maximum weight the scooter can carry?
The scooter can safely carry up to 200 kg, which includes the rider, a passenger, and any additional cargo. Exceeding this limit can strain the motor, brakes and suspension, leading to reduced performance or potential damage. Always distribute weight evenly and keep the load within the specified capacity.
How do I maintain the brakes and tires for off‑road use?
Check the front disc and rear drum brakes before each ride, ensuring the pads are not worn and the surfaces are clean. If the brakes feel soft, adjust the tension according to the manual. Inspect the 3.0‑10 tires regularly for punctures, cracks or low pressure, and inflate them to the recommended psi for optimal grip on sand, gravel or grass. Replace tires that show excessive wear to maintain safety.
Is the scooter waterproof and can it be used in rainy weather?
The scooter has water‑resistant seals that protect the motor and battery from light rain and splashes, but it is not fully waterproof. Avoid riding through deep puddles or heavy rain, and always dry the scooter after exposure to moisture. Keep the battery compartment completely dry and store the scooter indoors during prolonged wet conditions to prevent damage.
