How do I charge the electric mountain bike battery?
The bike comes with a detachable 48V 15Ah lithium battery that you can remove and charge with the supplied charger. Plug the charger into a standard household outlet and connect it to the battery. A full charge takes about 5 to 6 hours. For the first use, charge the battery for 8 to 12 hours to condition it. After that, regular charging cycles of 5 to 7 hours keep the battery at optimal performance. Avoid over‑charging by unplugging the charger once the indicator shows a full charge.
What is the maximum load I can carry on the bike?
The electric mountain bike is rated for a maximum load capacity of 120 KG, which includes the rider, any gear, and accessories. Staying within this limit ensures the motor, suspension and brakes work as designed, providing safe handling on off‑road surfaces and private estates. Exceeding the weight limit can reduce range, affect braking performance, and cause premature wear on components.
Can I ride this bike in the city or on public roads?
This bike is specifically designed for off‑road use, private estates, golf courses, and closed community transport. It is not approved for public road or highway use, and riding on public streets would violate local regulations. Use it on designated cyclists' paths, private property, or resort areas where motorized electric bikes are allowed. This ensures compliance with UAE traffic laws and keeps you safe.
How do I maintain the suspension and brakes?
The dual suspension system includes a rear shock absorber and a front fork. Check the suspension bolts and oil seals monthly, especially after riding on rough terrain. Tighten any loose bolts and replace the oil if you notice reduced damping. The disc brakes are self‑adjusting, but you should inspect the brake pads for wear every 200 km and replace them when the thickness reaches 1 mm. Keep the rotors clean with a soft cloth and avoid spraying water directly on them.
What should I do to protect the battery from extreme weather?
Store the bike and its battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. If you leave the bike outdoors, use a protective cover that shields the battery compartment from heat and moisture. Avoid exposing the battery to water, sand or dust; if it gets dirty, wipe it with a dry cloth. Charge the battery in an indoor environment and never let it sit completely drained for more than a few days, as this can shorten its lifespan.
