48V 20Ah Electric Scooter with 1200W Motor, 50 km/h Speed, 40 km Range, 14" Wheels
How do I charge the electric scooter safely?
Use the supplied charger and plug it into a standard 220‑240V outlet in a dry location. Connect the charger to the integrated battery port and allow at least 3 hours for a full charge. For the first use, charge the battery for 10‑12 hours to balance the cells. Avoid charging for more than 7 hours in regular use and never leave the charger connected unattended for extended periods. Keep the charger away from water and extreme heat to prevent damage.
What is the recommended maintenance routine?
After each ride, clean the frame, wheels and brakes with a damp cloth to remove dust and mud. Check tire pressure weekly and inflate to the recommended level. Inspect the brake pads for wear and replace them when they become thin. Store the scooter indoors, away from direct sunlight, and avoid exposing the battery to water. Perform a full charge cycle every month to keep the lead‑acid battery healthy, and check all electrical connections for corrosion before each use.
Can the scooter be used on uneven or sandy terrain?
The scooter is built for off‑road use on private property, so it can handle grass, gravel and light uneven ground. However, steep slopes, deep sand, or slippery surfaces can strain the motor and brakes. Use the low gear when climbing gentle hills and keep the speed moderate on rough terrain. Avoid riding on public roads or highways, as the scooter is not street‑legal and is intended for closed community or resort environments only.
What is the weight capacity and how does it affect performance?
The scooter supports a maximum load of 200 Kg, which includes the rider(s) and any cargo. Staying within this limit ensures optimal acceleration, battery range and braking efficiency. Exceeding the weight capacity can reduce the range, put extra stress on the motor and brakes, and may affect the stability of the ride. Always distribute weight evenly and avoid over‑loading the footboards.
Is the scooter waterproof and how should I protect it from rain?
The scooter has basic water resistance to protect the motor and battery from light splashes, but it is not fully waterproof. Keep the battery compartment sealed and avoid riding in heavy rain or through standing water. After exposure to moisture, dry the scooter with a cloth and let it air dry before charging. Storing the scooter in a dry indoor space when not in use will further protect the electrical components and extend the life of the battery.
