Do I need a lift kit to use these 14 inch golf cart wheels and tires?
Yes you absolutely need a lift kit to use this product. The UAE Golf Cart 225/50 14 tire has an overall diameter of approximately 23 inches. A standard golf cart only has room for tires that are about 18 inches tall. If you try to put these on a stock cart they will rub against the fenders and the frame and you will not be able to steer. We recommend a lift kit of at least 4 inches or higher to ensure these tires fit properly without touching the body.
What is the benefit of the hybrid tread pattern on this tire?
The hybrid tread pattern is designed to give you the best of both worlds. Traditional off road tires are very loud and bumpy on pavement while street tires slip on grass. This hybrid tire has a tight tread design in the center for a smooth and quiet ride on the street. However it also has deeper grooves on the edges to provide grip on loose dirt or wet grass. Does this product come as a complete set or just the tire?
This product is sold as a pre mounted assembly. This means you get the 225/50 14 tire already mounted and inflated on the 14 inch wheel. You do not need to go to a tire shop to have them mounted. You can simply take your old wheels off your lifted cart and bolt these new ones on using your existing lug nuts. This makes installation very fast and easy for the average owner.
